GREETINGS FROM THE FOUNDER & OWNER TOMOKO KATAYAMA

Welcome and thank you for your interest in Free Way Dance Studio.I established Free Way Dance Studio after taking over Tokyo Music Academy. I had been appointed to the Chair of Tokyo Music Academy (Osaka school) and director of Tokyo school. At that time, I established ISP (International Stage Production) Ltd. Therefore, ISP (International Stage Production) Ltd. is involved in management in FWDS (Free Way Dance Studio).
FWDS just had the 40th anniversary in 2007, and also ISP had the 30th. Through out all these years we have always worked hard with a sense of something new on the stage.
I want to help people to know how wonderful the life is through dance, and also hope that those who do not like dancing would at least know the fun of it. Before history when human did not even have a language, they communicate through dance and music (stomps, claps, shout, and beat some sticks). Those were the only ways. Therefore, dance and music can make people express their feelings to themselves and the others. More global… deeper…. No borders in dance and music. I devote myself for the development of better dance culture. Please come to FWDS and DANCE! I will be waiting to see you.
